- Normand was honored with a retrospective show of paintings and illustrations
for the Thomas
Dodd Research Center and Galleries at the University of Connecticut.
It ran from early October 2010 to January
of 2011, and showcased his illustration work at the
Dodd Research Center Gallery with "37
& Counting" a retrospective show of original art,
manuscripts, sketches, and books from the Northeast Children’s
Literature Collection and the Stevens Gallery with
“An Alter Ego” consisting of thirty of his evocative
watercolor paintings, many from his fine art book entitled My Maine,
the Coastal Watercolors of Normand Chartier.
